I wonder if the Rinnegan gives the beholder understanding on how to use the Rinnegan, how is it that when one awakens the ocular power seems to know a bit about a power never used before, does the Rinnegan grant the user the knowledge and wisdom to use Rinnegan? How did Nagato learn to use the six paths, or rinne tensei, or much of the moves he showed?
In Sasuke's battle with Naruto does Sasuke have a complete understanding of his own Rinnegan? If he lacks experience ( cause we all know he just got the Rinnegan) how can he use his Rinnegan as an advantage in his fight against Naruto?
Naruto on the other hand has had experience with sage mode and how to use Kurama's chakra, he has practice frog kata.
I know Sasuke is a prodigy but even a prodigy can't master such a skill on the fly...can he?
I think Sasuke is more powerful than Naruto but to be able to fully understand the Rinnegan and all it's abiliteis is something he doesn't have YET.
Naruto, in my opinion has an advantage in knowledge while Sasuke has the advantage on power. Question is which will trump the other.
