Was I the only one that thought of that when Naruto dodged the Hengoku technique? Just a simple side step and the uber powerful dojutsu was dodged. Perhaps that's why he didn't use it against Gai, if a simple sidestep is enough to dodge it ...

Judging by Naruto's already OP sensing skills and currently even more OP sensing skills a side step would be enough.
It probably would work on Gai but he was running around the entire time, so it possibly wouldn't work.

I agree with this. Naruto is already an adept sensor and with the new powerup, he's gotten even better to the point of being able to dodge it.

What confused me is it seems naruto was suprised he dodged it, or he wasnt sure if he did or not. Kinda left me puzzled my kishi made that questionable.

It was like a random reaction in which Naruto involuntarily dodged due to his newly acquired power. Either that or he is immune to it....I dont think you can step to the side while already in a forward motion idk...... It was like he did something to the space around him, but it was by accident not something Naruto intended to do.

there is no !? on naruto's dialog box when he dodges it, plus it makes sense that Madara is the one surprised about it being dodged than Naruto.

Looking at Naruto's face expression, he is unaware if dodged it. Its best to wait for Viz or Japanese raw to clear it up.

It was sasuke, that's why naruto and madara were surprised. It was the power of his left eye. It's an old trick but stronger than what we saw before

Altho I did notice this as well. Why would Naruto be surprised he dodged it, or was it that it didn't effect him? My first thought was that Sasuke moved him somehow but that wouldnt have been possible at that time. Hope Sasuke has some kinda cool "RAMBO" move instead of a rimbo! Hahaha
