His physical appearance is that of black hair (in the anime, it has a blue hue), which is a bit longer than that of Yukio's, and pale skin. Rin exhibits a number of physical traits that are signs of demon like looks, such as sharper-looking teeth, slightly pointed ears, and a black, fur-tufted tail (he keeps it hidden under his shirt).

Rin has a protective and supportive personality. Rin can be very violent and get into fights, but really has a kind heart. He supports his friends and tries to encourage and help them. He also seems very protective of his brother, and aims to surpass him one day.

Background Info.
History:
Rin was born in the proud clan of uzumaki and the proud village of whirlpools.
his mother was the only one he had left and his very and smart father died by protecting his mother and rin from the kyuubi attack years a go. His father was a special samurai who was request to help konoha with the demon kyuubi and his father protected the most of the ninjas and the citizens but in the end he died protecting his family from harm and the people.Since then rin's mom always lied to rin about his father being in a awesome place where he gets a lot of respect but rin always wondered if mom was telling the truth or she was deceiving rin with the truth. When rin grew older his mom still kept on going with the old stories but at the age of 13 rin knew that mum always lied to him about his pops, so one day when rin asked seriously to his mum that where is really his dad he misses him and dad can't always be at the awesome place with hes full respect but his mum with sad face was so filled with sorrow and she had no other choice but to tell rin the truth about his father and how his father was such a great man and a respectful samurai. And rin also found out that his dad always wished that his son will be a proud samurai just like his father tashmaru okumura.And rin told his mum that he will continue his father's wish and thats when he went to the proud village "The Land Of Iron" where it was always snowing and guards who were strong like unbelievable and thats when rin told one of the guards named "Norman Jayden" About his dad and that he wanted to continue his dads wish, normal the guard was a smooth and a nice person and he let rin inside the village where it was a place just like a arena because everywhere you could see samurai's who are well trained and rin wanted to continue so he had to get so rin asked this person know as "Zero kelvin" And zero was always mean talking like "Imma Learn To Bang Erza in dark O_O" and he wanted to be like a certain person. so zero showed rin around the places and to start off zero took rin where the sword of rin's dad which rins dad kept safe for rin so when he gets older he can use it with almighty powers and thats when rin met "The Pervy Sage" And this Sage was a professional who knew all about random stuff such as peaking in girls toilets and stuff but he was so strong and thats how rin trained under the samurai lord called "Izanami Kaito" and Izanami was the powerful samurai rin ever came across and thats when rins journey began. Rin trained under several samurais but he was still way behind the level of his father because his father was the 3rd best samurai in the land of samurai. rin fought many people such as "Drizzy" and some others and rins fake dad "Scaze -_-" Who always teased rin and annoyed rin by say "Go sell yourself so i can make money O_O" and thats when rin was getting stronger day by day.
