Rin Being A Jinchuuriki Wasn't A Random Move By Kishi.

Read a few comments saying this was a random move, but not so much. Way back in Kakashi's flashback when Rin was put under Genjutsu there were references to her chakra flow being different than Kakashi and Obito's chakra. Then her being unusually stubborn while being cast in the genjutsu. Back in chapter 604 there were markings and bubbles that are associated with animals and Jinchuuriki. I'm a member on the viz fourms and we've been debating the idea of her being a spy or Jinchuuriki for a while. Just hate people saying Kishi didn't leave bread crumbs when there were some.

It was actually a great move making her one. It explains why the Sanbi had no host when they captured it.

Fits the timeline too. Rin gets the 3 tails sealed in her. Obito goes to the Mist Village. Seals the 3 tails in Yagura and manipulates him. Zabuza plans his coupe years later. Sometime during part 1 and part 2 Yagura dies. 3 tails is unable to be resealed for some time. Who is the one to find and capture it? Obito. Kishi planned this.

But I can see why people think it was a random move since naruto didn't meet rin when he was being introduced to the tailed beasts. Also as a theory since she didn't have time to bond with it she wasnt the person the tailed beast absorbed the most chakra from. I don't know but its just a theory.

He didn't meet her because she wasn't the latest Sanbi Jinchuriki.

That's almost enough though. She could have been in the process of transforming like Naruto when Sasuke stabbed him. He doesn't just get the cloak right away. Today's chapter showed Rin knew something wasn't right with her. You gotta remember Naruto didn't know for years the 9 tails was in him. There's so much of Rin's story we don't know.
