I also want to add the fact that i think the so6p being jinchuuriki had senju and uchiha qualities (if he was not jinchuuriki, would only be senju qualities)
He had 2 sons, one who followed senju will to peace, and one who followed uchiha way to peace
That is to say i feel like the senju is related to so6p
While juubi relating to uchiha
All because so6p was a jinchuuriki

this thread brings up some interesting points. However, if we make a change of assumption we can see that some things answer themselves. What if the sage himself didn't write the tablet, but the older son wrote it instead? The older son had the eyes, and his children had the sharingan, so he could have left them secrets written down that the younger son and his senju descendents wouldn't have access to.

The tablet then is not the legacy of the sage, but the origins of a complicated revenge plan by the older son: Teach the descendents to unlock rinnegan, and then use the rinnegan and the juubi power to destroy the senju. In short, this is the written contract that is the basis of the curse of hatred.

If you assume this, there are no problems. The tablet was not written by the sage, so the sage didn't ever intend for the juubi to be revived.

This would make more sense, however since the Elder Son inherited the eyes of the Sage it begs the question why would he decide to suddenly grab some of his younger brother's DNA. He simply wouldn't need it, however that isn't to say that he didn't experiment with descendants but I'm not overly hung up over this line of logic.

Sorry, I mistyped. What I meant is that it is my THEORY that the Elder Son created the tablet, I didn't mean to imply it's canon. It doesn't say So6p created the tablet, but that it contains his secrets. Tobi says So6P left if for the Uchia, but does that really make sense?

I think, it was created by the Elders Son in a way that only allowed him and his descendants would have the information. After all it was only handed down by the Uchia. It also bares consideration Tobi is misleading the Kage to force them into a war.

Why would the Sage name his younger son as heir but record his secrets in a way that he could never read?

I would love to see the power of the sage and see the power of Naruto and Sasuke (the sage's body and eyes) working together to defeat Obito, Madara, and the Jubi.

I agree with this, but had already thought of it this way, since it seems to be very obvious IMO, but always good to patch it down on paper, it makes more sense for more people then, and it was easy to understand / follow arguments.

As you see in the last manga there's a page with the actual stone seal ... The stone seal was referred to as the moon , but it wasn't literally the moon.
