I think that the SO6P might have left a message in Kurama or something like that for Naruto. Because he did predict his coming. He won't train him but I do believe Naruto will either meet him somehow or get a message for him.

In order for that to happen, Rikudou would've needed to store some of his own chakra inside of Naruto, and it's clearly obvious that he was dead looong before Naruto was even born.

So it's possible. I'll take it out of context and think outside the box a bit. Aang met Avatar Roku so it's possible for Naruto to met SO6P.

Avatars have spiritual connections and besides, Roku and Aang weren't that far apart in terms of time whereas Naruto and Rikudou are majorly distant.

This is a little similar to the thread I had a while ago before Orochimaru opened the death god. Whichever way it happens I know Naruto would meet with the Sage of Six Paths someway somehow. If Naruto could ve met with Minato and Kakashi could have met with his father-Sakumo, then it follows that Naruto would meet with the SO6P.

I think Rikudou Sennin and Naruto will meet in a subconscious universe and Rikudou Sennin will teach Naruto many jutsu unknown to the shinobi world. Naruto will also treat RS with little respect, calling him "old man" or "gramps" and the RS will bonk him on the head with his staff.
He will teach him superb tailed beast control and also introduce him to his younger son.
And Sasuke will meet the Rikudou Sennin, too.

Yeah that would be cool but it'll make more sense for Sasuke to meet the Elder Son while Naruto meets the Younger One and they both meet RS together or something.
