But the god would not listen, for it has seen the evil in men's hearts, the priest, the god's former friend, had no choice but do battle with the creature:

Using Fuuinjutsu, he defeated the beast, and sealed it inside himself, hoping that one day, when its' parts become whole and is reborn once again, it will learn to forgive humanity for their sins and learn to believe in the light of human being's will.
