Rikudou Madara could of owned gai naruto and sasuke easily here's why

omg! this is so odd to see Madara whos so powerful rite now being brought down to his knees! In my opinion, I think Madara is going to show off his real powers of Ridoku when fighting with sasuke and naruto! I somehow feel Kishi might go in this direction! ...again, i feel like madara is a good man, with intentions in mind to bring resolutions to the problems that hinder humanity...this in which the ninja world is facing...buhhhhhhhh no! that aint happening!!! it is natural for hatred, pain and sufffering to take place in this world... I feel like important antagonists like Orchimaru, kabuto , nagato, Obito etc all have matured to such extent that they have now no reason to be the person they were in the past...! So.....similarly, maybe Madara might head in this direction as well nd realize that the path he had decided to pursue is all in vain.

It was not only Gai.... Just saying... ^_^ Also Madara wanted to test the prowess of the Eight Gates tech.... Kishi clearly portrays that many a time....also he kept Madara from using any jutsu... He even deemed Naruto more of a threat, that he used Rinbo.... On Gai he didn't deem him threatening enough. XD Though I respect Gais intention.... Its Manga fact he'd have died earlier had it not been six vs one...

It was Gai, let's be honest. Minato told him to charge at the Gudou-dama because of his plan, Gai even dodged them with less than 7th gates when he saved Kakashi. Besides, saying that he fought against Minato, Lee, Gaara and Kakashi when they really did almost nothing at all and Gai previously owned Madara with the Evening Elephant and afterwards with Night Gai is clearly trying to diminish Gai's prowess to make Madara look a little bit better.

I agree...they played a small role...but it matters not. During the battle they intervened thus incorporating them into the fight.... There is no way around this... That would mean, if by your way of thinking... Itachi defeated Kabuto and Nagato... I'm taking nothing from Gai...but it is a fact Naruto, Gaara, Kakashi, Minato, Lee, and Gai all fought Madara. It was not a one vs one....no disrespect, but no one can deny this or prove it incorrect. Gais final attack was admirable yes! You have to remember had it not been six vs one Gai would have died when Madara shot the orbs at him.
