If Madara is stronger I bet you Madara could of used the same thing as obito did it's all facts .. Plus only plot is holding down rikudou Madara ... Well....not only that...I'm willing to bet those who are more astute can clearly see Madara is being toned down by Kishi for the storys progression.... With that... in the end Madara defeated Gai....also he was fighting six opponents so Gai would have actually died long before, had the other five not been fighting alongside Gai. Just saying....
