Hey everyone. So, I've seen many threads about rikudou sennin's power, and the most difficult part to decide is if he had rinnegan before or only after sealing the juubi.
With some recent chapters, I concluded that maybe, the rikudou already had the rinnegan when he sealed the juubi.
Here is why:
First, when naruto was fighting hte juubi and protecting the alliance, we saw the juubi staring at naruto, feeling the bijuus' chakras and feeling , after that, rikudou's presence, and getting angry. When the juubi "remembered" rikudou, we saw his shadow and the rinnegan. That could be simbolizing the juubi's fight with rikudou, because I guess that's the moment the juubi had most hatred towards rikudou.
The other thing that makes me think that the sage had rinnegan before sealing the juubi is that, now that obito sealed the juubi inside himself, and had a "transformation" into something that resembles the sage, his eyes are still the same. Of couse, the juubi wasn't ins his final form, so we should wait to see if it can "evolve" inside obito.
The other thing is that it would be really hard to fight or even seal the juubi without a powerful "thing", like the rinnegan. I think that after he sealed it, his eyes either became just like the juubi's, or they stayed as the rinnegan, and te sage just gathered more power. That's what I think.
