Rikudo Sennin's Sons

Obviously the Rikudo Sennin is the most greatest ninja ever but there is still a lot more to him we don't know. Especially his Sons, which kind of surprise me. Do you think Kishi will expand more of his Sons.... eventually. Now I've seen people putting Harishirama and Madara in their Top 3s, and no i am not disputing that but do you think Rikudo's Sons are more powerful or not?

The Sage's ultimate wish to establish peace throughout the world was a goal that could never be achieved within his lifetime alone. Knowing that his end was approaching, the Sage entrusted his strength, dream, and legacy to his two sons. The older son, who inherited the Sage's "eyes" (his powerful chakra and spiritual energy), believed that power was the true key to peace. The younger son, who inherited the Sage's "body" (his powerful will and physical energy), believed that love was the true key to peace. I had to quote the Wikia, because these two Sons are obviously powerful and probably the greatest Ninja's after Rikudo Sennin, but since we don't know their abilities accept for the obvious and we don't even know their names, it seems that they get the least amount of hype.

Another thing I have to say is, do you think it is clever or clearly obvious how Kishi holds little information about them and he does not reveal. Do you think he has done this delibaretely to gain attention AWAY from them? Right now the Most popular Ninja's I hear of today is Itachi, Minato, Madara, Harshirama, obviously Naruto and Sasuke and most of them are in nearly all Top 10s,20s etc.

There is a lot of things which are a mystery in Naruto and haven't been expanded on fully, but to me do you think Rikudo's Son are talked the least when it comes to Naruto?

I know I keep asking questions but I'm interested to know what you think about Rikudo's Son, if you even think about these Characters?

They are probably super powerful, i would like some expansion on not only the sons but the sage as well

I am not sure about that. The sage's sons might have been reputed if there powers were anywhere near the sage. But then again your theory might be possible too.

They will expand on them for sure if tobi is the older son. I hope they tell us what the doujutsu was the older son had cuz it looks swirly like the uzumaki symbol.

I think that the two sons would be interesting to know more about but it'd be too revealing as to the specifics of what's happening right now in the story.

It's said that the Rikudo Senin gave the oldest son his eyes and the youngest son his body, but I don't think that necessarily encompasses everything that the Rikudo Senin had to offer.
Aside from the 9 bijuu, The Rikudo was the first Jinchuuriki. While the Rikudo could act as host to the ten tails because of his legendary physical power, the sealing techniques used to bind the ten tails in his body is what allowed him to be a jinchuuriki to begin with.

I tend to think that the sealing techniques also encompassed some space-time jutsu's like the summoning jutsu, but I don't know how useful these techniques would be to the two sons. It's possible that these techniques wouldn't constitute a hard seperation, since both sons could use the techniques, but different types of techniques could definitely be more useful to the different sons. The one with the Eye power could use summoning to a better end then the youngest son, because summons can be used on anything, even without a contract, and the eyes make control easier.
The second son could actually seal things within himself, so who got the sealing jutsu is kinda obvious.

Anyway... there's a number of things like that, but, those are somewhat moot since the story isn't really about the Rikudo Senin, but about Naruto and Sasuke.

Well common sense, has always told me

Rikudou Sennin.

The Elder and Younger Son.

Harashima, Madara, Tobirama, and Hiruzen. Maybe Mr.Nobody.

Orochimaru and Minato

Sasuke and Naruto --------> and the rest of their generation
