Authors note: This is a direct continuation, but after a couple paragraphs, I will go to present time, and start speaking with texts directly. Not to strong with speaking, but hopefully it will come out good. Wish me luck, and thanks for my supporters, the grand crowd of 3 xd

But unfortunately, the old man died, and with it, the hope that Rikoto and his sister would have someone to look up to. So they continued their journey, not knowing where it would take them. But it continued to become more of a struggle to survive. Rikoto knew that they had to start attacking and raiding the more well defended homes, because they would have more food. With this ultimatum of do or die, they decided it was their only option. And for the most part it worked. The owners of the houses were greedy, and richer than anybody they had known in their entire life. They were mostly successful, with few mishaps and mistakes. They were now experts at taking food while remaining undiscovered inside houses. So when they entered a house that looked like it would be an easy score, they had no idea it would end in such disaster.
The house was quiet when they entered, they naturally assumed the owner was asleep in another room. They were like true ninjas, stealthy, with weapons ready, but no weapon could have prepared them for the man waiting for them. They had made no mistakes, the way they entered the house was near perfect. But it was just coincidental that the owner was already dead, his throat slit before he even knew what hit him. Because another thief had already plundered the house. And was nearly ready to exit, but nearly fell upon 2 teenagers entering the window with no sound, starting to look through the kitchen. He didn't see their faces, he didn't care what their names were, all he saw was the kunai they had in their hands, and the outfits looking of a mismatched shinobi. He prepared himself to kill, readying himself with his kunai, and took up a hidden position in the next room.
Youko had no idea, she had no time to react, because while they had experience, it was trivial compared to his skill. She walked toward the next room, looking out for any movement. That was when he decided to strike, he turned from the corner, and with a quick move, stabbed the kunai into her chest. She was dead before she could say a word. He quickly advanced to the other threat. His only mistake being the thump her body made when she fell. And as his eyes noticed movement, he turned his head towards it. And the attacker missed by no more than an inch. He sliced the kunai down the side of Rikoto's face, and it lodged in the wood behind him. While he removed it, Rikoto and him quickly sized each other up, and Rikoto knew he was clearly outmatched. But he didn't care, he saw his sister, and knew from one look it was too late to save her. But with that look he left his stomach opened for a shot. The man took it, and caught a solid, albiet glancing blow. Rikoto fell, doubled over in pain. And when the man thought he was no longer a threat, he checked the window, and saw that there were people approaching, and they had makeshift weapons. So he quickly exited through the back of the house.
Rikoto was lying in agony on the floor, he was hurt bad, and that was all he knew. He looked up and saw there was no one their, but he heard noises of banging and the clamoring of people at the door. And he knew that marauders had shown up to try and steal from the house. He walked over, kneeled down next to his sister, and picked her up. Knowing he had little time, he pushed through the pain, and tried to run as quickly as he could from the house. Taking shelter in a nearby ditch, he looked at his sister, and treated his wounds, wondering how could it have gone so wrong. But he had lost so much blood already, and he was quickly getting dizzy. With dawn approaching, he looked up to the sky, and to the array of colors starting to appear on the horizon. And with that, he assumed he was going to die, and passed out, in a ditch, not knowing whether he would live or die. The entirety of his life, shattered.

This was part 2, hoped you liked it, I think it was a bit better on the ending, hopefully... Thanks for whoever reads it and likes it. Rep is nice, so are smiled :) xd

I liked it as well...there were few grammar errors, (to me anyway 0.o) but I could still understand it.
It was sad, the way his sister died, it something really fast, and neither of them expected it.
Don't get discouraged. I've got less supporters than you do. I think when a person first starts writing here, they don't receive even half as much reception compared to someone who's been writing in this section for a long while.
keep it up. :)
