First, I don't think this is the end of the juubi. Somehow letting years of scheming and conspiring go down the drain for a chance to fight your ex....rival, doesn't seem like it's something he'd do. The Juubi is fine he won't die until he reaches perfect form. He knows this and I assume he's actually waiting for Obito to get back from the other demention. When he does fight, even the healing jutsu won't save the fodder and perhaps select supporting/main characters.

I don't think you realized how powerful Kurama's tail beast bomb + Madara's full susanoo sword. It makes that attack look like a joke.
