i think maybe there economy sucked and they had to shut all the car componies down like detriot that place is a shit hole
It's not just Naruto. It's pretty much every story ever written. Even the old Superman comics used to have a section with letters to the writer, and a lot of them were about minor flaws in the story. Nothing can really be perfect, I guess.
Also, there are tons of people on Narutobase, I can't help but think there are a lot less writers for the Naruto series. Not to mention the writers have to worry about the actual story line and larger elements rather than simple things like why ninjas don't build/drive cars.
Maybe they like candles, I don't know. Perhaps the TVs were simply powered by lightning-style jutsu, or some crazy hamster-wheel contraption, and it's just too much work to try to use those sources for simple things like lights when candles work just fine.
On top of all that, I'm sure the writer(s) of Naruto don't really pay much attention to such minor details like this.
To some Extent i agree with you !
but think about the time where we have wait for weeks to actually have some action going all becoz of those damn fillers , i dont think they contribute to the to overall story in a significant way (i blame the writers)!!
Correct if i am wrong .
the feudal lords probably have special equipment, that ninja nor regular people cant have. the higher ups probably have there own ways of doing things, that normal folk dont know about, and they do have electricity, look at all the schools, shops, kage offices etc. some villages have more wealth
"Explain this to me then , if the have Tv they must have electricity , if they electricity then why do they use Candles"?
Well, you only get fillers in the show, not the Manga. The reason, as far as I know, is since they base the Anime episodes off of the Manga, that means the Manga has to come first. They make the Manga, and then just animate it, and there's your show.
Now, every week a new chapter of the manga comes out, and with it, so does a new episode of the anime. One episode could potentially cover several chapters, but let's say for the sake of this explanation, most episodes are just one chapter. So, now, let's say the Manga is 10 chapters ahead of the Anime. Suddenly they decide to make an episode that covers 3 chapters. That means that now the Manga is only 8 chapters ahead.
Every once in a while an episode covers more chapters than normal, and that causes it to slowly catch up to the Manga until the Anime is right on the Manga's back. It's difficult to continue on like this, because as we've already established, the Manga has to stay ahead of the Anime. So what do they do? Fillers. Think of this as a race, a race where we need Manga to always be in first place. Every time Anime catches up, we have to slow him down or trip him or something (using Fillers), until Manga gets far enough ahead that we can let Anime go again.
Wow, stupid analogy. But I think I made my point as best as I can at 5 in the morning.
I am not saying that the fillers should be abandoned entirely , but instead of just randomly picking out arcs they should instead on focus to explain several issues which are not explained in the manga(as their short) properly
..
IT may be 5 in morning for you , but its 4 in the afternoon here and believe me it is not a picnic here !!
I apologize, I guess I misunderstood you. However, I've gotta disagree with you here.
The fillers are meant to still be a source of entertainment. Sure, lots of people complain about fillers, but I think they can be pretty funny/interesting some times, and I'm sure others do too. Now, making a filler episode that explains why there are no cars in the Narutoverse just isn't in that style. It would either have to be some documentary thing, which wouldn't fit right and would probably be boring to most people, or they would try to keep it funny and in the spirit of Naruto, and end up failing to do so, or just wind up not really answering the main question properly.
I think, if anything, Kishi should just write short stories on a blog or something about little things like this if he wants. I see no point in really trying to explain this through the actual Naruto story. It's just not relevant.
Well we haven't seen any power plants that I remember so the electricity they can make must be very limited, during the fuedal lords meeting the guy running the video feed said they had to reach a agreement quickly because they were running out of power, why they didn't use it to get a hold of konoha about gaaras kidnapping Idk, logic loopholes like that happen like in harry potter one of the books they find a necklace that can let you time travel but no one uses it to go back and kill the main villian when he's a kid or anything...
totally agree..
Harry potter was total shit , just because of one necklace
Rowling was so lazy that she didn't even bother to explain that time travel could have multiple paradoxs that could lead to unlimited amount of permutations regarding the potter verse...
but i rate the Naruto> Harry Potter , so that's why i think we deserve some(no matter how minute but some) explanation.

i dont really pay attention to harry potter, but going back in time could cost you big time. just by changing one simple thing, can change the whole worlds future, like the butterfly effect. you don't wanna tamper with the past.
