Hello everybody. Long time no see!(All of you probably didn't even notice my absence). Anyways, I'm back with a vengance with a new thread to help you pass the time, ease youyr boredom and discuss. This time, its about the real power of the members of the the Revolution Army. The person in question today is the person I believe to be one of the most underrated characters in One Piece, Emperio Ivankov. I'll be discussion his true strength and reason for being in Impel Down. Lets go. Yeee Haah!

Ivankov's True Strength
Most people say Ivankov isn't that strong because he lost to Magellan.

Well duh. Ivankov is a close range fighter and Magellan is the worst match up for a close range fighter. Even though Ivankov was at a serious disadvantage, he still destroyed one of the hydra heads, wounded Magellan and removed every ounce of poison in his body and kept doing his thing as if nothing happended.

At Marineford, Ivankov OWNED PX-O Kuma. It took all the SHs to barely defeat one Pacifista and Ivankov outclassed the strongest Pacifista of them all without getting hurt.

Oh and lets not forget that Ivankov was able to single-handedly hold off Akainu. The only other person to hold off Akainu alone(minus Whitebeard) was Marco.

And lets not forget that Ivankov left Marineford with NO injuries and casually owned Pre-TS Sanji.

Ivankov is one of the veteran fighters of Monkey D. Dragon. Keep that in mind.

Impel Dowm Mission
Ivankov's mission in Impel Down is suprisingly super simple. He's just a recruiter. Not only is Impel Down one of the most important establishments of the government, its a place where all the world's criminals are imprisoned. What does that say for Dragon? Potential revolutionaries. Prisoners of Impel Down may be innocent civilainas or marine defects that could be valuable to the Revolutionaries. What if a fellow revloutionary gets captured and imprisoned? Emperio's job was to save them(and recruit other revolutionaries) and remain in hiding until further notice. Ivankov's mission was a success. He recruited hundreds of new supporters that were present in the Imepl Down riot and Marineford war.

1- Ivankov did no damage to brainless Kuma(PX-0). Yes he was hiting a brainless machine left and right but without damaging it at all. How is that impressive when you know preskip Franky could do the exact same thing?(He sent a PX flying with coup de vent)

2- He did lose to Magellan. There is no excuse

3- Also got one shoted by Akainu

His greatest feat is defeating preskip Sanji with relative ease. It shows he is quite strong, but nothing more than that

I agree with you.

OT: When you brought up the fact that he "single-handedly held off Akainu", I felt that you were slightly overrating him. Other than that, nice thread as usual.
