He claimed he wanted to
destroy Konoha, which would
have affected them ... but he
never actually attacked
Konoha. He hasn't had much
contact with them at all really. Characters like Ino and
Kiba still live in a world of
sunshine and roses.
Everything is "rah rah go
team" for them. They have
zero clue as to the dark, evil crap some of the higher
powers of Konoha were
willing to do "for the good of
the village". They've never
seen Danzou morbidly
wearing the eyes of all those dead people as power
trophies. Danzou was 100 x
more twisted than Sasuke and
they almost made him
Hokage. The only one of the
younger generation who could possibly stand back and
see where Sasuke is coming
from other than Naruto
would be Sai. As to the people
of other villages... Sasukes attack occured before
there was any real alliance
announced. Since the Shinobi
alliance what exactly has he
done to hurt them in any
way? And if you hold people to actions against other
countries from before the
alliance .... that would be
almost everyone. Hell, Minato
almost killed Bee once. Gaara
would have gone all bijuu on Konoha if not for Naruto. The
narrative from some of the
characters in the manga paint
Sasuke to be a MUCH bigger
villain than he actually has
been when you step back and really look at it. If I'm Sasuke,
what the 1st and 2nd had to
say would have had a
profound effect on my
decision.
