背景情報|Background Info
Corvo Attano served as the first Shogun of the Land of Iron's right hand man and body guard. He sort of served as the protector of the Family which gave him large reign and power over the country. However, he didn't abuse this...he hardly ever abused or overused anything really. That falls in line with his personality. A coup de'tat was formed prior to the promotion of Corvo but hasn't taken fruit until the Shogun's daughter was born. She goes by the name of Emily. One day at midday tea, a group of Samurai came in and caught the Shogun of guard murdering him and knocking Corvo out. They overturned the place and left it in shambles. While Attano was unconscious, the house was set ablaze and burned to the ground. Being muffled by the smoke and the intense heat Corvo woke up automatically. The very room was falling apart even so much that the ceiling was caving in and almost had fallen on Corvo. He jumps out of the way and takes a rough landing into some singed wood and rock damaging his body even more. His eyes are barely able to open as the flame engulfs the entire place. He looks up and sees in the distance his sword. He then scrambles against the floor crawling towards his sword and jumps outside the house and rolls on the ground into the cold snow. Corvo takes a blurry glance at the house as it collapses and passes out because he inhaled to much carbon dioxide and toxic fumes into his body. He wakes up hours later and struggles to get up and stand on his feet. He was shocked and traumatized by the murder of his Shogun and the murder of the rest of his family besides his daughter Emily. Luckily, She was at school while this occurred. Corvo limps to his home and collapses on the floor. Exhausted, he didn't want to move a muscle. He started to wonder and ponder on the topic to himself. The scene kept replaying over and over again. Evaluating it. Calculating it. He couldn't help but think "Who could have done this? Why would they do it? And How am I going to get my revenge?" He pulled up the will power and dragged himself to his bed to rest. All he knew is that he would figure it out in the morning. After a good nights rest, he gets up and walks outside of his home looking up at the sky. Goes back inside and slams the door. Corvo gathers all his important belongings and sets out for the journey of his life. While on his journey, Corvo joined the Yakuza clan. This was to hone his kenjutsu skills. While within the Yakuza clan, he picked up on some of the mannerisms and philosophies. After spending much time with them, he began to feel resentment and distinct hatred towards Shinobi. He carried a certain type of hatred for them and his blood lust grew as he came one with the clan and its members. At times, while fighting enemies, he chose not to take any of the advanced medicine that was available to him through the clan. He liked fighting and slaying his enemies without hesitation. From then on Corvo served as the Assassin of the Yakuza Clan.

Corvo Attano has many weapons at his disposal that are on his person at all times.
Katana- Corvo Attano has a katana with a red hilt that is placed on his left him so that it can be properly drawn with his right hand in times of battle.(Despite the picture the sword comes with a matching scabbard)

Iaido Mastery
Due to having mastered Iaido techniques and all their variations, Corvo's draw speed of his Katana is impeccable. He is able to fully unsheathe his Katana and have it ready for combat in a second or maybe even less.
Mask
Corvo has a metallic mask that covers his face. The mask is all black and has gold accents around the eyes of the mask. Over the mouth of the mask.. There are many gold metallic threads weaved in and out of the lips of the mask. The mask is meant to dim the impact of vision impairing jutsu and tools. The mask renders flash bombs useless and the lightning technique "flash pillar illusion" is dimmed down so that it is bearable to the user and can allow them to see. (The mask only defends against blinding jutsu can deal with overpowering light. Hence the Mask will be useless against Bringer of Darkness.)
