What also bothered me is the fact that the story never followed the original plot. Which was Goku's and Vegeta's teamwork. Whis early on in the movie made comments about how these two don't know how to work as a team. That felt like a build up to something remarkable. I thought by the end of this movie we would finally see Goku and Vegeta working together nicely. But in the end what happens? We see a repeat of Goku SS1 vs Final form Frieza. It felt like poor writing.
If Super decides to redo this arc, then we might be lucky after some of the horrible events that took place in Resurrection Frieza.

Dude you sound childish. I'm not butthurt. Just... forget it, you obviously don't see the error
I sound childish? Lmfao You are the one getting butthurt over me disliking your post. If you were mature you would have ignored it.

Again... no, it wasn't.
Vegeta rarely got a chance to fight, but he did a lot of fighting in the first match.
Frieza this time only fought Goku and Vegeta not the whole Z fighters.
He had a new form, as did Goku and Vegeta actually ascended.
It started off with Goku winning instead of them being even. Then progressed to Frieza gaining the upper hand and keeping it until his power wore off. In the original Frieza was fighting a losing battle soon as he went Super Saiyan.
Then, the ending was totally different. He defeated him with Kamehameha the first time but there was a twist this time and killed him. Thats development.
Oh wait so Vegeta was fighting Freiza when Goku went SS1? Because thats what I claimed the fight to be. Don't twist my words in your favor. It was a Goku vs Frieza all over again. With Goku beating Frieza a similar way as he did last time. Nothing new really.

You're really going to say that fight was 'the same' just because he had a similar hair style...?

Its a marketing tactic by them. To get nostoligia in the show. The fight was the same because it was once again a Goku vs Freiza fight. When they had a Super sayain Blue Vegeta on the sidelines it made no sense for it to be this way.

If Super decides to redo this arc, then we might be lucky after some of the horrible events that took place in Resurrection Frieza.
I would have liked to see a duo of Cell and Freiza vs Goku and Vegeta.

Goku didn't even beat Frieza in this movie. The only similarity is that it was the same people fighting. On Namek, Goku was destroying Frieza once he went Super Saiyan. In the movie, Goku was winning until Frieza went gold, and only started winning again when Frieza ran out of stamina.

I don't remember Vegeta showing up to fight Frieza on namek after Goku started loosing.

Also, you may have spoiled the plot of Resurrection C.

DBZ was acceptable before this.

Frieza can train for a month and match Gods? If he trained for 20 minutes, he could have shit on his dad whom he was so scared of.

If he trained for an hour, he would have never died in the first place.

If he trained for a year he could beat Whis.

If he trained an hour a day for his whole life, he would be literally invincible. No problem. That's retarded.
You're f*cked up!!!! Freizza could train for a century and match or beat Beerus but would still be <<< Whis!!!!

@bold: Thats actually what I ment. It was Goku vs Frieza all over again. With Vegeta who was as strong as Goku just standing there on the sidelines. His character seemed wasted. Also what happen to working on teamwork? The movie failed to follow its intial theme.
