Seriously. I just watched it TWICE IN A ROW! Awesome movie. I love how they made the first part talking and plot stuff, and the complete second half (really more than half) of the movie fighting.

And this guy is very interesting too! He's my favorite in this movie after Vegeta.

ALMOST flawless. My only complaints was that Frieza should have had more than 1000 measly men. Debut Frieza could destroy an entire planet of Saiyans, who were all stronger than his fodder, in one attack, in his weakest form. Then there was Goku seriously being crippled by a space gun. That shouldn't have even tickled him, he's a god.

But yeah... aside from that solid movie.

What did you expect? It's DB after all.
DBZ was acceptable before this.

Frieza can train for a month and match Gods? If he trained for 20 minutes, he could have shit on his dad whom he was so scared of.

If he trained for an hour, he would have never died in the first place.

If he trained for a year he could beat Whis.

If he trained an hour a day for his whole life, he would be literally invincible. No problem. That's retarded.

I agree with Necro. Everything was amazing except for Freiza's powerup. But maybe Freiza had unique potential unlike the rest of his family. There had to have been a reason by Beerus knew Freiza from earlier.

The powerscaling and inconsistencies in this movie were horrendous.

Goku got knocked out of God mode by a laser gun from a fodder.

Piccolo who was on Cells level was struggling against frieza's henchmen when he could easily and I mean easily clear them all out himself. He could sit there still and they shouldn't be able to even scratch him, heck Master Roshi was on par with Piccolo and the others more or less, when they are like 100000x's stronger than him .......

As nice as the animation was and what not...these things made this movie hard to watch.

I somewhat agree that Friezas growth rate was ridiculous... that made me feel uneasy watching it. But to be fair of course he had great heights to reach. He got that far in his life, never training a single day. So suddenly busting his ass of for the first time ever, evreyday for 6 months will give him some results. Perhaps he was a prodigy to his race, like what Broly was to the Saiyans.

But STILL, reaching beyond the power of a god was ridiculous.

And really, Shaz..? Going thru the whole thread and disliking anybodys post who doesn't have the same opinion is just immature. :|

This movie was Goku ss1 vs Freiza all over again.
No it wasn't

I only disliked your opinion. I agreed with majority of them. Not sure why you so butthurt?

No it wasn't
Yes it was. Vegeta rarely got a chance to fight Freiza. Goku had a matching hair style to his SS1 one to.

Frieza's power-up was one of the most horrible plots I have ever witnessed in an anime. It took months for Frieza to match Super Saiyan Blue Goku (who's superior to SSG Goku...the same Goku who was matching Beerus)? What a load of bullshit.

Dude you sound childish. I'm not butthurt. Just... forget it, you obviously don't see the error

Again... no, it wasn't.
Vegeta rarely got a chance to fight, but he did a lot of fighting in the first match.
Frieza this time only fought Goku and Vegeta not the whole Z fighters.
He had a new form, as did Goku and Vegeta actually ascended.
It started off with Goku winning instead of them being even. Then progressed to Frieza gaining the upper hand and keeping it until his power wore off. In the original Frieza was fighting a losing battle soon as he went Super Saiyan.
Then, the ending was totally different. He defeated him with Kamehameha the first time but there was a twist this time and killed him. Thats development.

You're really going to say that fight was 'the same' just because he had a similar hair style...?

What also bothered me is the fact that the story never followed the original plot. Which was Goku's and Vegeta's teamwork. Whis early on in the movie made comments about how these two don't know how to work as a team. That felt like a build up to something remarkable. I thought by the end of this movie we would finally see Goku and Vegeta working together nicely. But in the end what happens? We see a repeat of Goku SS1 vs Final form Frieza. It felt like poor writing.
