He spawned the other 6 at once and combined them with a Bijuu Dama.

He initially had nine dude(including two sticks).....representing nine bijuus. Later he kept on losing them one by one. U_U

Which is why I said he only ever had 3 in their fight. Thus, if he used 3 the entire time, the 6 being used in the TBB is based on blind faith.
