Yeah but look at how many times in the anime.manga some1 was going to die but didnt. :/ Sasuke when vs haku, Chouji in that butterfly thing, and so on.
That doesnt mean hes dead. A lot of ppl see dead ppl when theyre close to death themselves.

haku vs. sasuke was a twist but it was on purpose..
chouji was dieing but he wasnt said to be dead..
kakashi said he would die and they showed him talking to his dad..
i think when they someone talking to a dead guy in the dark i think hes dead....
