Hey all,
I just wanted to give a quick shout out to Kishimoto for his amazing writing. I know that a lot of people follow Naruto because of the badass ninjas, and cool jutsus. Other people follow because of the great animation and can relate to the characters. Sometimes I know we have to take things for what it is in the anime. Sometimes people take it quite dry and literally, but I want to challenge you to read a little deeper, because thats where the true ART in Naruto is. The art in Naruto is not just what's on the surface, or the expert animation, but the philosophies and themes that Kishimoto are throwing at us.
More recently, I feel like Kishimoto is reflecting really artistic themes in Naruto. Themes of Yin and Yang, Realism vs. Idealism, Pre-Destiny, Nature vs. Man, absolute power, true peace.. These themes are found in between the lines and it's amazing to see all of this still coming out this late in the anime. I mean this is really deep thinking, themes that we face in our universe today. That ability to connect a fictional anime to the real world takes so much skill that I think it goes unnoticed at times. I'm just really impressed that after 10+ years, Kishimoto still has us discussing these themes in communities like this.
I mean to go even further, we are part of his artwork as well, are we not?
Kudos to Masashi Kishimoto.
Thank you, :bye:
