Leon,claire,carlos, and jill will be playable in a mode called heroes and villans i believe. Also Hunk is playable in this mode as well.

if i recall correctly u play through the story as someone else and depending on how u play the game the story changes for example if u let leon die on a level i guess either the story will be different or u gonna be mad u let him die earlier when u need him at the part of the game you're at now
