My topic can be anything just need to be scholarly sources.

I just do not know what to research about. I was thinking Cannibalism, Genocide, or Feminism.

An interesting topic I know nothing about would also be good. I don't want to have anything to do with politics, psychology, and astrology or anything boring.

Theoretical Physics. Make sure you are correct about everything. If you are then you'll probably get the best grade in your class

Re:searching

I'd go with cannibalism or prion disorders (like Mad-Cow Disease).

This condition isn’t contagious—unless you consume the nervous system of somebody who died from it, which the Fore unknowingly did when they ate the brains of their dead brethren.

Probably the most interesting part is how some tribes are immune to such disorders.

Vice said:
a whole new type of genetic resistance not just against the peculiar strain of illness that hit them, but potentially against every form of prion disease imaginable.

Newsweek said:
But it seems to have had one positive effect: Many of the Fore possess a genetic mutation that appears to make them resistant to kuru and CJD

The researchers speculate that if cannibalism hadn’t ceased in the late 1950s, the kuru-resistant gene might have spread throughout the entire population, making everyone immune.

How is psychology and astrology boring but feminism and genocide interesting? I don't get that, seems odd. You could do astrophysics, physics, theory of relativity, astronomy.

Dante's Inferno references in Michelangelo's The Last Judgement.

Or Chinoiserie decorative arts like furniture, snuff boxes, etc represented throughout French Rococo art.

Decline of Cretan society with the simultaneous shift of power in the Aegean to the newly founded Mycenaean culture circa 1600 BC

Appropriation of exotic customs such as tea drinking into European society ie British culture--how some came to be synonymous with said society even if berated as ill mannered prior to its appropriation.

EDIT: also, if you want to talk about cannibalism, maybe you can research Gericault's the Raft of the Medusa and discuss that. Forewarning: there are political undertones.

oh and astrology doesn't exist fyi. Maybe you're thinking of astronomy?

well... why not Feminism V.2.0 ?
it's called Feminazi, those who doesnt want to be equal to men anymore...
but rather superior... and say that even newborn boys are rapists and sexist?!

p.s if women get the same salary that men do...
they will realize their big mistake when womens clothing gets twice as expensive...
mens clothing are much more expensive than womens... they're just too dumb to understand that even if they get lower salary... the stuff they buy is cheaper than mens...
i'm a female... but i'm not that dumb o_O

it's all fixed for a reason... haha

A research that investigates the results of switching football trainers in the major European football competitions during the past 15 years.

Whenever a team preforms poorly, they nearly always fire the trainer and recruit a new one. I've always wondered to what extent switching trainers actually yields any positive results, if there are any in the first place.

Pro's:

- It's a topic that many athletes, and anyone else who is involved with sports, can easily relate too. With other words it's a popular topic that appeals to many people and potentially can even result into practical applications.

- You can easily adapt the scope of your research if you have too much/too little to make one paper out of it by for example limiting yourself to one competition if it's too much or increasing the time period to the last 20 years if it's too little.

- There are several institutions who collect relevant info and sometimes can be accessed in online databases. Much info can be gathered simply by using the internet either way.

Contra's:

- It would be partially a statistical approach and numbers don't always appeal to people.

- You would need to be interested in sports and football in particular.

Astrology does exist, though it isn't accepted officially as a real science because it's field of research is completely baseless and pretty much bogus. That however doesn't mean it can't be used as a research topic depending on how you approach it.
