I've just re-read the Pain arc to kill time while waiting for meeting... And it got me wondered, what if Gai's team is in town and not doing mission? That would be great since Gai can help kakashi and maybe neji rock lee and fodderten kicks some ass there.. Will it be different for the story? Because looks like Kakashi & Gai is a promising duo.

The anime covered that. Gai's team came back from a mission while the fan was ****ing, Gai noticed a lot of birds fleeing away from the village and was puzzled on it. TenTen wanted to go to a spring spa bath. This was before SM Naruto came to the rescue I believe.

Not against Pain. Guys attacks are all physical, all Pain has to do is push and pull the attacks to dodge.

Against the Preta(?) path, he would end up like Kakashi's Lightning Release Shadow Clone, impaled.

Not to put Guy down, but Taijutsu just isn't good against Deva and Preta(?) paths, and maybe even the other forms.

What are you saying =_=? As for the War Arc, where is Team Gai? They are on the battlefield. Last time we seen them, well Lee, is when Neji died. The can't escape or venture off that easily when the threats is in front of them.

First of all, if there is two people, it is not soloing......


And secondly, Gai and Kakashi ain't doing shit against all 6 pains at once.

I'm sorry but Pain would wreck them.

Kishi took of Gai from village, otherwize Kakashi would not need to babysitting the whole akimichi clan.
Kakashi and Gai is the perfect team.

Just a small correction, but it's the Asura path that would be bad for Gai as it is armored, has spikes, and seemingly lasers. Preta only absorbs Ninjutsu so Gai is actually the perfect counter for that path.


OT: No not really. Deva Path is honestly anti-Taijutsu...add the summons to waste the 8 Hates and the Asura psth...maybee even a bad step against the Human Path
