Just finished watching it and I must say, it was very emotional and graphic.
When I finished I felt physically sick (anyone else?) over what people to do get "high".
I found Marion's ending very disturbing/disgusting (emotionally)
The one that got to me the most however, was the mothers ending... It was a phenomenal way to show the conclusion of her, what's the word?.. Dream
The mother had it the easiest I guess. She's pretty much mental and doesn't know anything apart from the infinite loop of her fantasy.
Marion in a way has it the hardest (maybe). She pretty much has nothing but prostitution and drugs for the rest of her life but *** and drugs was what she wanted the whole time so in a way she doesn't mind it (she did look uneasy during the *** scene at the pimps house though).
If the film was to show their life after prison (Tyrone & Harry) Tyrone wouldn't do drugs anymore as the film showed that he regrets everything and in a way Harry does too.
It was a great movie, not one I'll watch again though. It didn't phase me as much because I've never done drugs or know anyone very close to me that does it but I bet it connected to a lot of people who watched it.
Moral of the story: Don't do drugs, stay in school. In the end, the only thing that matters is health, friends, family and happiness. And if you're doing it because you're bored....
