Hey everyone! Thought we might make a 'challenge thread' for members of the FanFiction community. Now, one of the things I hate most is when I can't find a certain story. I'd like to at least read one fic centering around Shisui without making him want Itachi's D. Likewise, I hate when really good authors drop off the market because they can't think of an idea.
So post challenges/requests here! Try to steer away from all out smut; we want to promote creative writing and such, not porn without plot (if you have a genuine plot that goes beyond "Naruto and Sasuke had *** in the alley for fun" than by all means, go ahead). Also, do not hound anyone who takes your request to update quickly. Fanfic writers aren't paid to write, so don't try to order them to. That being said, if you do take a challenge but think of dropping it, for Jashin's sake tell the challenge giver. Don't just never update ever again, keeping completely silent as far as that story is concerned.
Also, even if someone else has taken a particular challenge, feel free to take it as well!
Try to stay close to any guidelines set by the challenger; if someone request for no M/M, don't put M/M. Of course, if they do want it and you loathe it, don't take the challenge.
My challenges:
Fic where Shisui and Naruto have a brotherly bond; preferably, keep interest on Shisui. Whether the story goes beyond the Uchiha Massacre, or indeed, even beyond a one shot is up to the Author. I prefer no Yaoi for either party, though side characters are okay. No Naruto/Hinata, however. Please refrain from mindless Danzo bashing; yes, he can be the villain to Naruto and Shisui, but try not to make him doing it all for power and cause he's a ****. Canon!Danzo is far more complicated than run of the mill evil doer, and he did genuinely love Konoha.
Naruto learns Edo Tensei; Naruto learns it on the Forbidden Scroll incident. I'd prefer Naruto to be more reserved and calculating than in canon, but for the love of God don't make him some super badass who hides behind a 'mask' of happiness. Again, no yaoi. Also, Kushina/Any Hokage/Mito/Mikoto can not be the first person whom Naruto revives. There has to be some sort of challenge for him to get their DNA later on, not just 'Hiruzen gave it to him'. Last, and feel free to ignore this one, he should be regarded by some of the higher ups as a 'Second Orochimaru'. No Naruto/Hinata, and try to refrain from Sasuke/Kabuto/Danzo/Minato bashing. Everyone else is fair game.
