[Suggestion] Request: Delete the [Facepalm] smiley

A lot of you might have noticed that the [Facepalm] smiley is getting overused these days, whether by posting it when it's not needed, or by posting an entire reply consisting of just ":sy:".
Some members even spam that smiley by posting it more than once after a single sentence, which makes it somewhat annoying.

I'd say it's not really needed. One can write "[facepalm]" or "-facepalm-" to express himself/herself.

Conclusion: The ":sy:" smiley is getting overused, some members can't post something without including it in their replies, which makes it annoying and repetitive.

This is a request/suggestion to the staff. Use the poll if you agree or disagree. Feel free to tell us what you think about it.

Personally I don't see why it should be removed. It's a smiley like all the others. There have been posts where the "" smiley was abused as well.
Sometimes the overuse of the smiley can be annoying, but I just ignore it then and try to focus on the text on its own. Plus it takes a bit less time to just click on the smiley instead of writing "facepalm" full out. I don't mind writing words full out, but I assume there are members who like certain smileys because it makes replying quicker

I overuse this ":|" smiley because I am always indifferent. Threads these days are ":sy:" worthy. If you facepalmed at a thread, I believe you have the right to use a facepalm smiley. :|

You got it wrong. I made like two or three threads a long time ago and I don't remember someone posting a facepalm smiley in one of them.
Why I made this suggestion is because I'm noticing that it's becoming overused by members of the base.

I have a better idea... Why not just stop with all the childish inane threads which serve no purpose other than illustrating the creators lack of intelligence and desperate need for attention of any kind... Wow! Maybe those hand over smileys would become unessessary.... :sy:

Deleting an overused smiley won't change much unless you use it often. If you want more smilies you can make a suggestion about it, or borrow some from the internet.
