[Question] Reputation points.

I've checked out the FAQ of RP points a bunch of times prior to me posting this thread so I'm not sure if the answer to my question is there or not.

Sorry for my laziness that I won't check it again.

If person A has, say 0 rep and he gets repped by person B who a rep power of 1, then person A has 1 rep.
But after person B has repped person A his rep power becomes 2, does person A's rep stay at 1 or does it become 2?

Just curious.

No. When person B's rep power increases from 1->2, A's rep won't also increase from 1->2.

I'm actually quite generous with my rep but my rep just increased from 3 to 4 so you're a bit late.

No if Person A gives someone a rep with say Rep Power of 4, then that gives Person B 4 Reputation Points. If Person A's Rep Power later increases to 5+, it will not effect the number of points given to Person B originally. If that makes any sense.

It would stay at 1 for person A.


To put it simply, Person A would basically be the last person to ever get just +1 from Person B, who'd from then on give out +2.

Otherwise, basically every time someone was increased in power, every single +Rep they'd given would increase.




Conclusion: Person B would give Person A one Point. From thst point on, anyone B reps will get +2. Person A will not get any double bonus just because B finally got an increase.
