Repercussions for Sasuke's failure?

He shouldnt punish him remember is the 8 tails is like the second powerful tail beast and it was hard to capture him atleast give Sasuke some credit.

nah sasuke did very well and took down bee with just a retarded ameterasu attack which still sucks in my eyes..
but besides that we shouldn't underestimate killerbee..
and as a sidenote, it could also be because akatsuki has way 2 less members to extract the 8tailed which gave killerbee the time to recover some i bet..
i mean.. with just kisme, zetsu and tobi extracting ? when gaara got extracted they said they have to be carefull because oro left them and it shud take around 3 days..
and that with 9 people.. and shukaku is 1 tail.
imagen how long it would take to extract killerbee with just 3 people..

It wasn't strength if I recall as much as it was brains. The eight tails outsmarted Sasuke by hiding and sacrificing some of the Bijou's tentacles. I don't know how the Sharingan missed it. He was sloppy with Ameratsu, and it cost him the eight tails.

well im pretty positive that only hidan would be capable of beating killerbee easily... just landing 1 hit would be enough for him..
but besides that im 100% sure kisame would beat him easily aswell..
notice when suigetsu did a water attack on killerbee and bee stated that water attacks are his weakness

kisame seems to be the best choice to hunt the eight tails would be a big fight though he near wiped out team hawk . still it was kinda sloppy sasuke missed a substitution like that. proving u can get out smarted even with a sharingan.

i think bee said suigetsu had the advantage because they were surrounded by water and since suigetsu is a water type he'd be stronger in the area they were fighting. i don't think he meant that he's weaker against water. though i could be wrong...

No kirabi was just saying that since they are around a lot of water, Suigetsu has an advantage using all that water in a jutsu. If anything, Kirabi's lightning jutsu would overpower Suigetsu because lightning uses water as a conductor.

i actuall hope part of kishi interview is tru where it stated
3 new aaksuki mebrs stronger then deidra kakuzu and sasori will come forth

I dunno, I doubt Madara thinks Sasuke did it on purpose. He'll think something's up if Sasuke ends up fighting Pein when he gets to Konoha. Besides, Sasuke saw Madara survive the black flame within minutes of meetin him. Even Sasuke knows he's out of his league...for now anyway..............

Uh ameterasu didn't work. Hachibi looked fine to me in the last chapter.
