[Question] Rep power?

If say, my rep power were to be 4, does that mean I influence rep by 4 points, or am I not comprehending this right? Thank you in advance.

When + rep someone they get 4 rep point from you.

When you neg they lose 2 rep points (Since it takes half away for neg rep)
