statement :
The rep power of a thanked post is not based on the users rep power. Hence if a member has less than 5 in rep power, a thanked post gives more rep points than a plus rep from that member.
explanation:
Q)it means if i gave someone regular rep by filling form he will get +2 rep from me.(since my rep power is 2)but if i clicked on thanked post he will get more rep than +2??????????
ANS)Yes, a thanked post is always 5 rep points. No matter what rep power you have. Even if i gave you a thank(me who has 23 in rep power) it'd still be 5 given rep points.
statement:
The total value of the reputation altering power(rep power) is based on sum total of three conditions-
►Joining Date-Initial default rep power is 1. On completion of an year at NarutoBase, users gain another 1 point of rep power.
►Post Count +1 point for every 2000 posts.
►Reputation Point +1 point for every 1000 points of reputation you receive.
explanation :
I) Join date. Means that when you've joined NB. You are automatically starting with one rep power. When you've been member a year, your rep power will increase with one. When you've been a member for two years, you'll get another rep power. Say i've been a member for two years and i've never posted or been given any rep. I start with one right? 1+2(the 2 is from where i've been a member for two years).
II) Post count. If i have 2,000 posts i gain a rep power, if i have 4,000 posts i gain another one, if i have 6,000 i gain another one. Etc.
III)Same as post count. Only that you gain one rep power per 1,000 rep points you've earned. Say i have 1,000 rep points. I gain a rep power, i have 2,000 rep points i gain another one, i have 3,000 rep points i gain another one etc.
statement:
they say anyone cant affect anyones rep count waht dos it mean??so whom can affet whom???
explanation :
No everyone can affect others rep count, however. Some members might have 0 in rep power or under 0. That means they can't affect your rep count if the neg/pos rep you. However, they can still use the "Thanked Post" function.
Q)but everyone get +1 rep power when they join the base so how they get 0 power?
ANS)If they get neg-repped.
Q)rep power increase with rank like kage , sanin etc?.
ANS)No they don't.
Q)so how did u get 23 rep power?
ANS)I have 17,000 rep points(equals 17,000rep power)= 17 rep power.
I started with one(equals 1 rep power)= 18 rep power.
I've been a member for more than one year(equals 1 rep power)=19 rep power.
I have 8,000(equals 4 rep power)equals posts=23
Q)i receive 583 rep so someone with 2 rep power gave me neg rep then my new rep power will be 582 .am i correct? so how does neg affect rep giving power ?
ANS)You have 583 rep points. If you're neg repped with someone who has 2 rep power, he/she will deduct your rep points with 1, since neg rep is half your rep power. So yes, you'll have 582. Yes you are. It would effect your rep power if you had say 1,000 rep points and were given a neg rep, so you'd go down to 999 rep points. That means that the rep power you'd have for your 1,000 rep points would've been removed, since you'd only have 999 rep points again.
