I don't think having red, or "negative" reputation would make anybody cool. xd Mainly because reputation really doesn't count for much. If you have a lot of green, then people repped you for your posts, humor, or other stuff you do on the site.

While red reputation, known as negative reputation would mean a lot of people disagreed with you, or you were trolling people so they -repped you.

Not really. They just think it's cool, when in reality it's not. On NB, it's not all that common to see red bars. If you have one, then it's most likely because other member thought they were trolling.
