I don't believe he could. He might have been able to use them separately, but I doubt he could join them together to use Mokuton or Lava Style.

No, I don't think he could. From my understanding everyone is born with one nature element, (fire,wind, ect.) Now many people can learn other nature elements and utilize those jutsus.

However, some people are born with 2 elements and this is where you get your KKG users like Haku for example. He was born with wind and water and is able to combine them to make ice, unlike someone who was born with wind, but learned water. He wouldn't be able to use ice because he wasn't born with both elements. As a matter of fact last weeks anime explains this fairly well. Another example is Kakashi he has both earth and water elements, but can't use wood style because he learned the elements through his sharnigan rather than being born with it.

I think the rinnengan just makes it easier to learn the nature elements, but because they weren't born with it they can't use things like dust release and wood style.

he should've been a tough apponent but he was only using summonings all the time when he was fighting naruto. I thinnk kishi just wanted to make naruto the hero, who beats imposible openent..

I think kishi is kinda messed up. we know that the Rinnegan>any type of sharingan, naruto wud need sage mode to beat Rinnegan but kyuubi mode to beat EMS. did u guys notice that.

Kakashi can use more than one... can he combine them to create a new jutsu?

He can learn other nature elements but in order to combine them you need to be born with them, if that makes sense.

No.

Being able to use all 5 natures has nothing to do with being able to combine them.

Combining them is only possible if you're born with that trait. You can't learn them.
