[Discussion] Renji takes all types of dumps on Gin

Its come to my attention people think otherwise :|

So let me explain this. Ichigo blocked Gin's blade in bankai form, easily. Despite it moving many times the speed of sound or whatever. Anyway, now i dont like to use A>B>C logic but Renji's power and speed far outclasses Ichigo's at the time. So Renji could smack it away easily and potentially break Gins bankai. His skull has tanking abilities, so Gins bankai could also easily be deflected by that. And Renji's Teppou shits on anything Gin can do. So that about cover it?

Power??? Maybe.

But Speed??? Definitely not (From what we've seen this far).

And while Current Renji is definitely pretty damn strong, Gin is actually underrated on the base (From what I've seen this far that is)

Because of his Bankai power he can 1 hit pretty much anyone if he lands a direct hit. And due to this and his swords length and speed all he has to do is point his sword at the enemy and it's pretty much over.

And just try to imagine him in a fight with no knowledge. If the enemy doesn't know about his power he can kill them before they even draw their sword (If they have no knowledge about his sword, then him pointing a sword at them from 50 meters away doesn't seem all that dangerous. But at soon as he does that he wins the fight though).

So in a fight without knowledge there are barely anybody who can beat him.

If Gin activated his bankai Renji wouldnt be stupid enough to not activate his and since Renji knows what his shikai does, he would know what he might do with his bankai

Lol renji beats gin in shikai only the trolls up here think other wise lol gin beat up a ichigo that was very weak.

well why don't we analyze this lol ****. anywho we got gin his zanpakuto is the fastest zanpakuto manga stated. renji has been known too be of the slower variety of fighters.

overall endurance i'm going with gin as renji has never been an endurance man.

thats just a bit of unbiased assessment as for the winner its a very close fight but i give slight advantage to gin.

It could go either way but to say Renji stomps Gin is ridiculous.

Sure right now Renji has more raw power than Gin but the winner isn't defined by raw power alone and from all of Renji's fights we know how quickly he becomes arrogant and drops his guard thinking he's won. He's done it time and time again and would do so again versus Gin and that's why Gin could still beat the current Renji.

Gin only has to make a scratch and it's over. It's safe to assume he can detonate the dust he leaves inside wounds at will and doesn't need to pierce them to do so. Even if the damage from a stratch isn't great he can use that opening to finish the job.

Renji is a dumb fighter - Gin is not.

But that's not the point. (And btw I doubt he would be able to figure out that it's a 1 hit kill)

Cause in any case as I said Renji is not as fast as Ichigo was back then, so Gin can probably land a hit on him before he can react. And try to think of how hard it would be to fight an enemy that can kill you as soon as they point their sword at you. There are very few characters who could pull that off.

ichigo in vizard form could barely keep up, a bankai that boosts speed...
He was hit by gin, and if gin wanted could of used his true power on him and killed him

Raw power might go to renji, but that bankai of gins is batshit strong

Renji not as fast as ichigo was back then? Seriously? Did you not see him cut James up in a blink of an eye while super star was throwing punches, super star did not even notice that he moved..and I remember renji saying the reishi in the monk palace was so dence he could barely move but now he can move around up there pretty fine so I'm guessing not only did he get stronger but also faster ..anyway gin not going to have a chance in this fight renji got a mega boost.
