Background Information
History
Renji grew up in the poorer areas of Konoha alone, as his parents lives were taken in the Third Great Ninja War. He lived ruff stealing from shop and stores to get the food he needed to survive, until one day when he was running away with the spoils of his recent robbery and he was stopped by a tall man will medium length red spikey hair. This man took the stolen goods from Renji and returned them to the shop owner, making Renji apologise for stealing them. After returning the goods to the shop over the man introduced himself as Rasnall Hyuuga. Raz took Renji home with him to the Hyuuga clan's residence were Renji found out he was a Hyuuga. Delighted by the fact that he had found a place he could call home, Renji quickly settled into the clan. He later found out that he was part of the Main House and that his parent were the second most important members of the clan, before they lost their lives.
Whilst in the Hyuuga clan's residence Renji trained under senior members of his clan, who taught him Jyuken, after a few months of hard training Renji was a master of the Gentle Fist and was seen as one of the strongest Hyuuga clan members. After the many months of training Renji decided that he needed to see the world, so he left the clan's residence and travelled the world in search of new things, new people and new techniques he could learn.
Renji travelled west after leaving the leaf village until he came to the land of wind. Whilst in the land of wind Renji came across an interesting man who goes by the name of Wesobi. Renji was taking a leisurely stroll along Capital River when he saw Wesobi, Wesobi was doing many thing that intrigued Renji, so Renji approached the man and asked him what exactly those amazing things were that he was doing and Wesobi told Renji that what he was doing was mastering the Art of Ninjutsu. Amazed by this Renji insisted that Wesobi taught him the ways of Ninjutsu, and so he did. Renji and Wesobi trained together for many weeks, practising their arts and bonding as friends. After around a month Wesobi told Renji that he needed to leave and return to his village, and so Renji and Wesobi parted ways.
Renji then travelled north up to Earth Country were he met a young lady. This young lady was Leaf. Leaf and Renji crossed paths in a small town outside of Iwa. Leaf noticed Renji practising his jutsu along the side of a river and she saw potential within him, so leaf approached Renji and offered to teach him Wind Release. Renji agreed and trained under leaf for many weeks, then after around six weeks of training Leaf told Renji that she had taught him all he needed to know about Wind Release and as a parting gift Leaf gave Renji a war fan to aid him in his Wind Jutsu.
After training with Leaf, Renji travelled east where he met a man by the name of Teno. Teno was a loud outgoing man who took it upon himself to teach Renji how to control lightning and how to create his own lightning. Renji trained with Renji for two weeks until they completed training, Renji was shocked when Teno said to him that they were done as all his previous training sessions had lasted at least a month. Before parting ways Teno told Renji to sign a scroll with his blood and then form a string of five handseals. Renji did this and after he formed the handseals a large bird appeared before him, Teno told him that this was his bird and that as a parting gift Renji was now able to summon Lesser Birds of Paradise.
Renji continued east by foot until he realised that he now had the ability to summon birds. Feeling slightly stupid Renji bit his thumb and formed five handseals, after slamming his hand on the floor Renji looked up to see a majestic bird circling above him. This bird landed in front of Renji and introduced himself as Aiolos. Renji and Aiolos then became good friends travelling across the land together.
One day Renji was travelling on Aiolos when he saw a small hot spring. Renji felt he deserved a little down time so he checked into the hotel at the hot springs. After several days of relaxation Renji met a vibrant young woman, this young woman went by the name of Lili and for the remainder of their stay at the hot springs Lili taught Renji water jutsu, using the hot springs as their training ground. After a week of training Lili told Renji it was time for her to leave. This somewhat saddened Renji as he was greatly enjoying his training under Lili and her company. Lili told Renji that if he wanted he could return with her to the Water Country and join the village she is a part of, Kiri. Renji accepted this offer and travelled to Kiri with Lili, finishing his water training on the journey. Upon arriving at Kiri Renji was shocked to find out that Lili was the Head Tactician of Kiri and worked directly under the Mizukage.
Renji joined Kiri and after a few weeks of living in Kiri and doing his shinobi duties he men a lively man in a tavern. This man's name was Migualon J.J., the two came about speaking when Renji accidently knocked Mig's sake bottle over and broken it. Mig angered by this challenged Renji to a battle, while Renji was reluctant at first and tried to talk his way out of it he realised that it was no good and accepted Mig's challenge. After a glorious battle between the two Kiri shinobi Mig decided he would teach Renji how to play with fire because the great skill he displayed in the fight. For the next two months Renji trained under Mig who was one of the senior sensei at Kiri and his Senpai Sharingdork. Renji mastered both earth and fire under the two and build strong bonds with them.
After training for the two months there was a village tournament that was held to try and build teamwork within the village and to determine strength within the ranks. For this tournament Renji partnered with a young man called Reborn, who he met at the same tavern where he may Mig. He caught Reborn trying to trick people into buying him drinks with the use of genjutsu. He took great interest in the man and decided to become his partner. Whilst they partook in the village tourney Reborn and Renji became good friends and build great teamwork, which shown as they fought their way through the tourney, getting all the way to the finals before they were defeated by the Admiral of Kiri Demosthenes and his brother The Doctor. After the tournament Renji returned to his normal shinobi life having gained new experiences and new friends.
After a few months of regular shinobi life Renji was told to go on a vacation as he was overworking himself so Renji travelled to the Hot Water Country and stayed in a hot springs. Whilst at the hot springs Renji met a man called Gitanshu. Renji and Gitanshu hit it off and became good friends, laughing, joking and messing about for all the time Renji was at the Hot Springs. However Renji and Gitanshu needed to part ways as they were both needed back at their respective villages.

Renji has the Lesser Bird of Paradise tattoo incorporated into his may tattoos on his body. On the inside of his right forearm.
Mist: Being a shinobi of the mist, the mist only hinders Renji's sense of sight, none of his other senses.
Silent Killing: Because of the rough life on the road and his rough bringing up Renji has become very efficient in silent killing, being able to kill swiftly and without noise.
Weaponry
Normally Renji carries my CW which can be found in my customs, but for the instances where he does not have my CW he carried two katana sheathed on the left side of his hip. As well as his two katana he will sometimes carry a large (like Temari's) on his back. He also carries a bow and a quiver of arrows on his back sometimes.
