Seeing as how tnj didn’t get used until naruto actually found nagato and all it did was make nagato use rinne tensei I don’t think much would change.

Obito would of just wiped everyone out

TnJ is a crucial part of the series. So it wouldn't turn out so good without it, its more or less a staple at this point.
