First of all, there will be spoilers. Second, the movie is better than the reviews, go see it asap!
I found some moments in the movie quite reminiscent and, dare I say, emotional as well.
1. The Harley character. Her performance was very reminiscent to the Harley portrayed in the 90's Batman animated series. She nailed parts of the voice perfectly, the character was spot on, very sexy and a little scary.
2. The joker. I swear this actor studied Heath's voice and mannerisms from the Dark Knight. I swear it was the same voice at times. The actor did very well. Also, his shiny grill was reminiscent of someone.... who was it..... oh ya (skip to 1:30):
The Mouth of Sauron.
Kind of an extreme comparison, but there were times where I was looking strictly at the joker's grill and his big smile and shiny teeth reminded me of this guy. Not quite as menacing, but still a good sight.
3. The villains. The ritual of the villain siblings was quite reminiscent as well. You might like this one Diablo fans.... but it was just like the ritual of Mephisto and Diablo cutscene in Diablo 2 when Mephisto is conjuring the portal to hell for Diablo to pass through. Mephisto is like the female villain and Diablo is like the male villain. She is the talkative one, with the menacing voice, and he is the strong silent type like Diablo. The conjuring of the portal was comparable to the summoning of the giant mechanism from this movie (skip to 1:20):
4. The croc.... same as the Lizard villain from the amazing spiderman, not much different.
5. Deadshot, pyro guy and boomerang? All look like they are straight out of Borderlands from the PS3 (skip to 0:45).
