His mind was clear and there was no fear even though he was to lose this fight just like every other skirmish with Luffy.

"It's been too long"
*While talking, I straiten myself up and stretch my fist outwards towards you. As I am stretching my fist towards you, unknown to you, I send chakra into the ground through my foot, creating a silent but fast pillar behind you that hits you in the back of your head, and almost at the same time(In really quick succession), I shoot a finger bullet from my fist that I held towards you, and right after shooting the finger bullet, I have another pillar erupt 30 cm in front of you(at a ~70 degree angle), to hit you in your stomach, finishing the perfectly timed combination.
You get hit in the back of your head, making you stumble forward as I stretch out my arm and shoot the finger bullet, which travels really fast, and right before it reaches you another pillar erupts and hits you in the stomach, and the bullet hits your chest area. This all happens in around 2 seconds. (Not enough to kill you)

Instead of shooting all 10, the user does a finger flick and instead shoots one(or two if used with both hands) finger bullet with much more speed and power than its predecessor. If the user wishes to, he can do a barrage of finger flicks shooting many bullets(thats the A rank). The bullets are very durable and don't lose speed or power easily.
~Cannot use Ten Finger Drilling Bullets for 1 turn(2 turns if used as A rank)
~When the A rank version is used for a second time during the battle, the user cannot use any more bone jutsus for 1 turn.
