Remember Yu Gi Oh?

The trading card game and anime were my life when I was little.
I remember watching the anime every Saturday morning and then getting my first deck at age 8.
I'd battle every kid's deck in my block and take their wagered card if won.
It was so popular 2002-2005. Anyone else remember this awesome game?

It was amazing. I never continued to play/ watch after the first generation though. I thought GX was gay AF, so I gave it up. Dartz and marik were f*ckin badass.

I had a water deck, the legendary fishermen, gravity bind, legendary ocean, tornado wall just couldn't be stopped.

Yep, the first season of Pokemon was the best imo. I have it on vcr. Next to yu gi oh, its my favorite anime. The card game though...I never played it, just collected.

I think my favorite arc was the seal of orichalcos. Also enjoyed battle city, and duelist kingdom

it's quite simple actually once you practice it.

My bf at the time cosplayed as Kaiba and me as Tea and we performed on stage at an anime convention. Little kids wanted pictures with us afterward, thinking we were the actual characters. We even signed autographs for the children. It was fun!
