That poison gas breathe is OP.

Shizune Sakura combo:

Shizune uses poison gas no jutsu and opponent holds their breaths and escapes teh fog somehow...waiting outside for them iz sakura with her sleeping gas no jutsu!!!

Honestly feel like she was wasted potential. Each Sannin had a number of apprentices that became extremely capable and unique shinobi and I feel like Shizune could have been a great rival to Kabuto. Both combat/medic nin who work directly under Oro/Tsunade? Too bad she (or any other side character for that matter) was never developed after she was introduced

Shizune if more so a bad ass healer then combatant I’d say; her not picking up CES or Byakugou from Tsunade says that.

Tsunade and Sakura play the tank and slugger role ( just looking for one big punch) in combat. Shizune fights more like Haku, but with poisons. For a combat medic, she had potential. Only one person could be a Sannin clone for Tsunade and that had to be Sakura.
