That was all for her at the beginning and stayed with her for 300 + chapters then the random boost came. Naruto and J- man did slack off cause all he brought after the time skip was a bigger rasengan, it was a pain to watch Naruto through the beginning of Shippuden when he had no new skills at all and the characters would be saying how stronger he got, I be here sitting going wait what? Naruto worked on his Ninjutsu usage , Fox control which he can pull out at will and he worked on his Taijutsu being able to catch up to Sasuke at the start of p2 with a 3.5 while Sasuke had his sharingan , genius and pills/medicines to work with not to mention sakura becoming extremely adept at medical jutsu was expected after she went under tsunade but yea jiraiya could've done better in that time jump.

It was kinda sad that on the surface naruto didn't seem to gain anything from that time skip besides some slightly improved taijutsu some new clothes and a bigger rasengan. I was really disappointed in nardo for that one
