When Sakura was a spy for the leaf , to gain intel on Orochimaru by Tsunade, but also wanted to prevent him from taking Sasuke's body. So she joined under the guise of a medic to heal Orochimaru arms, but it stalling until Sasuke gets stronger. Oro was none the wiser because he didn't know of her talent and that Tsunade trained her taijutsu. So Orochimaru grew weary of waiting for his arm and was going to make a move on Sasuke, so he sent Sakura on a errand.
