Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, known in Japan as Naruto: Narutimate Hero 2 (ＮＡＲＵＴＯ-ナルト- ナルティメットヒーロー２, Naruto: Narutimetto Hīrō 2), is the second installment of the fighting game series Naruto: Ultimate Ninja. Like some other Naruto games in Japan, this one was available in two covers: one featuring Naruto Uzumaki along with several different characters in the background, and the other with Sasuke Uchiha and several other characters.
The game was released on September 30, 2004 in Japan, June 12, 2007 in North America, and is slated for release sometime in Fall 2007 for Europe.
Ultimate Ninja 2 features a similar gameplay experience to Ultimate Ninja, featuring many of the same gameplay elements and geography. The game also features an RPG-esque story mode, the first half from the series, the second being an added story arc that takes place between the Tsunade Decision arc and the Sasuke Retrieval arc. In this arc, Orochimaru finds out about a jutsu called the Gedo Mark and uses it to seal Kakashi's Sharingan. Orochimaru then starts his second invasion on Konoha and uses the reanimation jutsu to bring back Zabuza, Haku, and the Third Hokage.

Naruto and Iruka have a talk. After the talk, you are given a chance to
explore the village, complete missions, or anything else you may want to do.
When you are ready to proceed with the storyline, head over to the Hidden
Leaf Hot Springs and talk to Shizune. Shizune is worried about Tsunade and
asks you to find Tsunade to tell her to take a nap. Tsunade will be at the
Hokage Great Stone Faces. Talk to Tsunade and tell her to get some sleep.
Make your way back to the Ichiraku Ramen Shop and talk to Sakura. Sakura
says that Kakashi is at the Hidden Leaf Village Gate gathering everyone up
for a new mission. Talk to the three people at the gate and head out for a
mission. There will be a video showing Tsunade talking to the Third Hokage
in the past. Apparently, it was all just a dream, but now Tsunade has a clue
about where to find a cure for the Gedo Mark. After the video is done,
Orochimaru and Kabuto will once again attempt to make their way into the Leaf
Village. Seems like it's so easy to enter the Leaf Village, doesn't it? Not
so hidden... Kakashi and the group will have returned to the Leaf Village
after their mission is over. Since Kakashi has been acting weird, the three
young ninjas will begin to worry over Kakashi. Naruto will start gathering
information about Kakashi. Make your way to the Hokage Great Stone Faces and
talk to Tsunade. Orochimaru will make his appearance with Kabuto.
Orochimaru will begin to tell Naruto about Kakashi and the Gedo Mark.
Instead of just explaining it to Naruto, Orochimaru and Kabuto decide to show
him first hand. They use the Gedo Mark: Confusion on Naruto, putting Naruto
in Kabuto's control. Kabuto will force Naruto to attack Shizune.

After Shizune repels the attack from Naruto, Kabuto will send Naruto out into
the Hidden Leaf Village. Orochimaru asks again for Tsunade to heal his arms,
but right as she's backed into a corner, Orochimaru's arms begin to hurt,
causing Kabuto and Orochimaru to retreat. After they retreat to a rooftop,
Orochimaru demands that Kabuto use the Gedo Mark on himself, as a way to get
around the whole not able to move his own arms thing. Kabuto hesitates at
first, but eventually casts the Gedo Mark: Confusion on Orochimaru, allowing
Orochimaru to use Jutsu. Kabuto forces Orochimaru to use the Reanimation
Jutsu to summon the dead. Orochimaru then sends Kabuto out into the Leaf
Village, giving him full permission to use the Gedo Mark as he sees fit.
After all of this, you are given a chance to save your game. Back in the
village, Sakura is talking to Guy. Asuma appears and tells Guy that ninjas
of the village are going crazy and that Zabuza Momochi is back. Guy and
Asuma leave to help out the villagers, leaving Sakura all alone. However,
Sakura is not alone for long. Haku appears next to Sakura and tries to
attack her, but Sasuke appears to fight Haku. Sasuke tells Sakura to leave
at once, which she does.

Tips:
Haku was already fast without the fast state, but this battle just makes
him annoying. Try to keep up with him and his Substitution Jutsus.

Once Haku goes down, he apologizes and rests once again. Meanwhile, Zabuza
is fighting Kakashi. Zabuza notices that Kakashi isn't his regular self, but
doesn't seem to care much. However, not one to let a hurt man continue
fighting, Jiraiya appears and decides to take over for Kakashi. Zabuza sees
fighting a Sanin as interesting so he decides to accept the challenge.

Tips:
Zabuza, just like all the others before him, is annoying with the
Substitution Jutsu. Since he has high defense, it will take a while to
bring him down. His high attack means that you should avoid getting hit
at all costs, since a regular Zabuza hits pretty hard.

Zabuza in VS. Duel and Zabuza's customization.

Zabuza dies again. Back in the village, Sakura runs into the rampaging
Naruto. Naruto tries to tell Sakura to flee, but, of course, she doesn't
listen.

This is a basic battle.

Tsunade comes over and tells Sakura what's going on with Naruto. Tsunade
knocks Naruto out and tells Naruto that he has multiple personalities inside
of his head and that he needs to defeat the other him to regain control.
Shizune comes over and informs Tsunade that there's no cure for the Gedo Mark
at the Hokage Stone Faces. Sakura eavesdrops on Shizune and Tsunade, which
forces Tsunade to tell Sakura the story of her dream. Sakura tells Tsunade
about the Memorial Stone and the possibility of that being the place that
holds the cure. Tsunade goes to the Memorial Stone while Shizune stays back
to heal the wounded. However, Kabuto is already at the stone, planning more
carnage and mayhem. Someone, though, manages to spot him there. Neji
approaches Kabuto from behind. Neji and Kabuto have their war of word and
then the battle starts.

Neji vs. Kabuto
Conditions:
1. Win the battle.
2. With enemy's life constantly regenerating.
Points for Neji: 200
Tips:
Try to drain Kabuto's Chakra with the Byakugan. That will limit his
options of attacking you and if you get rid of all of his Chakra, he
can't use that annoying Substitution Jutsu anymore. After that, you can
keep attacking him without having to worry about him appearing from
behind. This really helps keep the annoyance of the regeneration to a
minimum.

After the battle, Neji flaunts his victory, but ends up dropping his guard,
allowing Kabuto to attack him from behind. Tsunade appears and Kabuto
threatens to attack Neji if Tsunade doesn't go with him. Tsunade agrees to
go with Kabuto to save Neji. You are given a chance to save your game. Back
on the rooftop, Orochimaru is there talking to himself about the village.
Tsunade appears and tells Orochimaru that she will heal his arms to make
everything return to normal. However, Kakashi appears and stops Tsunade
before she can do anything. Orochimaru, getting increasingly frustrated with
everything, brings out his trump card. Apparently, he has also reanimated
the Third Hokage and is able to control him. After seeing this, Tsunade
reconsiders healing Orochimaru's arms and refuses to do so now. In response,
Orochimaru forces the Third Hokage to attack Tsunade.

Afterwards, we go back to Naruto. He will be in his own dream world. Of
course, in his dreams, he only dreams about food. While he's deciding which
ramen he likes best, another Naruto will appear. This Naruto just wants to
destroy everything. The real Naruto remembers Tsunade's words and decides
that he needs to fight the other Naruto to gain control of his body. Freud
would have a field day with Naruto.

Conditions:
1. Win the battle.
2. Defeat the enemy using a level 3 Secret Technique.
3. With enemy's attack power high.

Tips:
You will need to injure the other Naruto a whole lot before you can
perform the level 3 Secret Technique. Half the battle will be just
landing the Secret Technique, since he won't just let you waltz up to him
and let you hit him with it.

After Naruto defeats the other Naruto, he wakes up in control of his body.
Naruto and Sakura have a conversation and then they run off to find the Gedo
Mark: Release scroll. You now control Naruto. Make your way over to the
Hero's Memorial Monument. Neji will be here and tell you that Tsunade is at
the Lookout Tower. Naruto will search for the scroll while Sakura takes care
of Neji. Once again, you are in control of Naruto. Go behind the Monument
Stone and examine it with the X button. Naruto will find nothing at first,
but after looking again, Naruto finds a bunch of scrolls, including the Gedo
Mark: Release scroll. Naruto runs off to the Lookout Tower. You will be
given one more chance to save your game. At the Lookout Tower, Tsunade and
the Third Hokage are still fighting. At just the right moment, Naruto
appears with the Gedo Mark: Release scroll. Tsunade tells Naruto to read
off the scroll and Naruto does. While Naruto is reading the scroll, Tsunade
performs the hand signs for the release Jutsu. Orochimaru, realizing what is
going on, tells Kabuto to stop Naruto. Kabuto reaches Naruto, but is just a
tad bit too late as Tsunade performs the Gedo Mark: Release. Regaining full
control of his Sharingan, Kakashi prevents Kabuto from landing the blow to
Naruto. It's time for Kakashi to get some revenge.

Tips:
About time Kakashi is able to use Secret Techniques. Unleash one right
away to get Kabuto's life down and then just keep throwing him off the
building if you can. Kabuto's own move set is surprising effective
against himself.

Kabuto finally goes down in pain. About time he feels what it's like to be
hurt. Orochimaru is now officially pissed off. The Third Hokage, even
though he's being controlled by Orochimaru, still has enough left in him to
taunt Orochimaru. Of course, Orochimaru wants to hear none of it, especially
from a dead person he's currently in control of, and releases the Reanimation
Jutsu. Now it's Naruto's turn to get pissed, and we all know that when
Naruto's pissed, it's Nine-Tailed Naruto time.

Nine-Tailed Naruto vs. Sealed Orochimaru
Conditions:
1. Win the battle.
2. With enemy's attack power high.

Tips:
Nine Tailed Naruto is very jumpy. It's easy to lose control of him and
end up falling off the stage. While it is easier to knock Orochimaru off
the stage as well, he takes less damage than you do from falling because
of his high defense. Still, it's a good strategy to hit Orochimaru's
blocks with multiple attacks in hopes that he will fall off the edge,
since the knockback is still very high even if Orochimaru blocks your
regular attacks.

Orochimaru and Kabuto retreat in defeat. The ending movie rolls, Kakashi
gets pulled in 80 different directions, and the Ultimate Road comes to an
end. Now you can roam freely and gain more Jutsu and complete more missions.
Oh, and after all that, Itachi, Kisame, Orochimaru, Nine-Tailed Naruto and
ANBU Kakashi are unlocked in VS. Duel Mode while Itachi, Kisame, Orochimaru,
Kabuto, and The Third Hokage are available for customization. Also, the
flashbacks to the Ultimate Road are unlocked for viewing in the Ultimate Road
menu. Now, you can travel freely, unlock Jutsus, complete missions, and do
whatever else you want to do.

ANBU Kakashi are unlocked in VS. Duel Mode while Itachi, Kisame, Orochimaru,
Kabuto, and The Third Hokage are available for customization. Also, the
flashbacks to the Ultimate Road are unlocked for viewing in the Ultimate Road
menu. Now, you can travel freely, unlock Jutsus, complete missions, and do
whatever else you want to do.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2, known in Japan as Naruto: Narutimate Hero 2 (ＮＡＲＵＴＯ-ナルト- ナルティメットヒーロー２, Naruto: Narutimetto Hīrō 2), is the second installment of the fighting game series Naruto: Ultimate Ninja. Like some other Naruto games in Japan, this one was available in two covers: one featuring Naruto Uzumaki along with several different characters in the background, and the other with Sasuke Uchiha and several other characters.
The game was released on September 30, 2004 in Japan, June 12, 2007 in North America, and is slated for release sometime in Fall 2007 for Europe.
Ultimate Ninja 2 features a similar gameplay experience to Ultimate Ninja, featuring many of the same gameplay elements and geography. The game also features an RPG-esque story mode, the first half from the series, the second being an added story arc that takes place between the Tsunade Decision arc and the Sasuke Retrieval arc. In this arc, Orochimaru finds out about a jutsu called the Gedo Mark and uses it to seal Kakashi's Sharingan. Orochimaru then starts his second invasion on Konoha and uses the reanimation jutsu to bring back Zabuza, Haku, and the Third Hokage.
