With things in my reach and where I have the choice to have a say, I will stick to things by Islam. I see it if rules are shifted to sway to people's opinions it leaves the religion open to bad image.
Not too fond of the term fundamentalist, but most will see it that way. Within a secular society, there are limits to what can be done, and as long as my intentions are opposing and I'm not harming or insulting anyone, or even seeing myself above people then there shouldn't be any harm, right?
Tolerance becomes important in this case, and it's something I believe I bear a lot, despite being someone who tries their best to follow things by the Qu'ran.
