I can't say your opinion holds much weight since you're clearly biased. Ah, but whatever; people will have opinions and who am I to say who's right and who is wrong. Though, I could bring up the secular atheist regimes of the past and clear Darwinist-influenced approach from Hitler at running a government. But I won't because I dislike making detrimental generalizations.

It's very ignorant to assume someone is ignorant simply because they believe a certain group is responsible for an incident.

Also it's not like i'm just saying it because I just think Christianity is pointless. All religions are pointless to me.

My answer is based on facts which is enforced by by more facts based on Christian's pass actions.

Oh yes, I'm totally offended as evidenced by my earlier post :|

Good reasoning bro. Clearly, threads about homosexuality are not controversial.

I never said it wasn't. You claimed that I offended people on that thread, I was just apologizing for offending you as well since you thinking that way makes you a victim. Clearly, you missed the point of the post so I advise you to go back and reread it.

Envy, I still have yet to learn how to separate quotes on the base where some of it is still highlighted. lol[/QUOTE]

This is a tedious argument. You claimed it was in your past post. I never said I was offended nor is there an ulterior way of thinking about it. I just said you offended people in the aforementioned thread. I found it ironic for you to criticize him for making a religious thread. That's it and I'm finished with this argument so lets just put it behind us.

@Okami, I didn't say you were ignorant; just biased. There is no evidence for what you have previously said no matter how you put it.

If you keep spamming, you are only forcing my hands on the ban from the thread button.

No it's actually a common believe.

Christians set technology back by 500 years by burning The great library in Alexandria Egypt.

Someone doesn't know anything about the dark ages. During the "dark ages" hundreds of schools were setup all across Europe by Charlemange to educate people. They were monasteries of course but they were the universities of their time. You could either pay to receive an education from them or become a monk and be the one writing the books and studying new technology. More books were written during Charlemange's lifetime than during the entire reign of Rome.

He started Europe's schooling system. Those monks would also go out to the peasantry and use their knowledge to try to improve things for them and give them some education.

Please do that, because there have never been any secular atheist regime in the recorded history of humanity.

Nazi Germany was a "christian army" (just google what every single nazi soldiers belt buckle had inscriptet...) and they wore even backup up by the catholic church and the pope, heck even the last pope we had was a Hitler Jugen...

Communist Russia was just that, "Communists" Stalin did not do what he did because of his lack of a belief in a god, he was just a powerhungry maniac who just happened to get to power and the abbused that power to his liking while at the same time making his people suffer greatly.

North Korea isen't a atheistic regime either, they worship their leader as a God, and are far, far from a secular nation...

I like the advances humanity has been able to make due to great people, but if that was all we focused on we'd be zombies by the end of 2050. Same goes for living a life purely on faith. People have needs. They need balance and moderation in their lives. Falling into either side of an extreme is not healthy and is taking humanity backwards.
I believe in a healthy blend of spirituality, mind and body to support humans.
