Personally, i was born into a religious family. After a while i was told by pastors what gods word was and inside i never truly agreed to them because it secularized certain people from being accepted.

If i were to be completely honest, i wouldn't say that i don't believe in god at all, but i just want people to understand that just because you believe in god you have to exclude everything else that contradicts you.

I honestly don't see the point in religious debates. P sure I'm gonna get xxx "hurr durr u poostin heer so u caer xDDD lulz' posts, but hey.

Both the sides refuse to even take into account what the other person is saying. People are going to believe what they did.

That being said, I believe in God, just not religion.

I just want to see if religious people are willing to agree to this.

Say, you believe in the idea that god created the world and did all these miraculous things that you're basically opening yourself to every possibility without proof.

thats why it's called faith, i personally don't believe in god, at least not the god or gods in the religions we have right now. but i can see why people can believe in something without proof. it's faith and belief that there is a porpuse, a reason and an idea behind this world and things that happen. that there is a global good and rightousness that you should follow and global bad and evil that you should avoid. and that there is either punishment or reward at the end, or if not those at least something in the end.

no one has ever seen god, but no one has ever seen an atom either. if we prove the existence of an atom because it did something indirectly then proving god because he did a miracle indirectly is really not that far fetched.
