this chapter represented three different kinds of religion for those who didn't pick up on it

The tree of god is representing the Norse side of mythology since it's a representation of the tree of life
The fruit that was ate represents the fall of Eve in the garden of Eden, in a way the woman sealed the fate of man by giving them chakra.
Then there is Buddism since it's literally trying to keep a balance

I salute you Kishi, this was by far a great chapter, though now it's become a race against time.

A lot of religions share similarities in their creation stories - it seems Kishi is drawing from all of them.

Oh, and plus-rep and thanks for not being a troll thread

no problem I hate troll threads, one could also argue there is Hinduism aspects of the tree, or another could even dwelve into to some african creation beliefs for this one. Kishimoto has outdone himself

just because a chapter has little action doesn't mean that it's not bad this chapter actually finally gave us a truth. That chakra for a long time for what I believe, what was hinted, was stolen. Think about if the Juubi is a natural being, it must have something to warranting it's rage.

I think people worship Itachi since he's the Jesus of NV.

Yes, indeed. It is a bold move on Kishimoto's part to cover all of those ideas in a single story that was just recently unveiled.

Well I would like point out that Rikudo's mother was actually managed to 'stop all conflict' and bring about relative peace .... untill her power passed down to the people and Jubi went on a jealous rampage. There is great political themes here too: Monarchy vs Democracy ... Centralized Power vs Local Politics etc
