[Discussion] Releasing the IT

So the viz translation that came out today, hagoromo says that to undo the IT, Naruto and Sasuke have to simultaneously weave the rat sign. This leaves out the possibility of them accidentally releasing it by touching hands during a rasengan/chidori attack. I think they both will live after this because of this translation also. We know Naruto lives but didn't know about sasuke. But if they have to weave the sign at the same time, I don't know, I just think they will both be alive. I mean I guess sasuke could do it on his death bed, might make it more powerful that way. Just wanted to post about the translation though.

Well i suppose by releasing IT they'd get their chakra back, I doubt Kishi will go that much into how they got it back or whatnot. Naruto and Sasuke weaving the sign probably makes everything go back to normal.

I think the Rabbit that was shown in chapter 688 & 690 was made out of that chakra. It mostly likely will return again and willingly give it back.

I think the Rabbit that was shown in chapter 690 was made out of that chakra. So it could have purpose later.

That's possible, as the Juubi is made solely out of the Bijuu chakra, and Kaguya was stated to have more than that due to absorbing the world's chakra as well.

Do you have a link to the page where he says that is the ONLY way to release IT?

In neither the mangapanda nor the *********** versions does it say that. It only says that they CAN do it together, not that it is the only way.

Compare that somewhat the so6p said about sealing Madara. He was very specific that it REQUIRED both suckske and Naruto. Kishimoto has left himself lots of room this time.

Sasuke hypothesized that he could release it on his own with his Rinnegan. The fact that he was able to summon his hawk suggests to me that he is in fact able to release individuals from IT.

He did not say that in the mangapanda or *********** translations. Where is the link or scan to support that he says "ONLY" in the Viz translation?

Doesn't say only, but it is implied. It is the only way. I mean I guess if sasuke gets all 9 Bijuu inside of him he can do it alone, but he doesn't want to be juubi jin. He just said something about madara getting what he deserved because he used their power.

Or he can absorb the tailed beast chakra via preta path.
