First of I would like to show you these images...
Look at Kaguya´s hair between the horns.

So by now you get the point Kimimaro is a descendant of Kaguya.
Now comes the interesting part.
Did Kaguya Ōtsutsuki give the origins to the Kaguya clan, the Hyūga clan or both ?
So, first goes the Kaguya Clan.
So the horns that Kaguya has might be a manifestation of the kekkei genkai from the Kaguya Clan.Naruto Wiki Page - Select few, namely Kimimaro, possessed the kekkei genkai Shikotsumyaku(ability to manipulate their own skeletal structure by infusing their calcium with chakra, they could manipulate the growth and properties of their bones to their liking); this ability was so powerful that even the war-loving Kaguya clan feared it.
This the Kaguya clan symbol, see the reference ?

Second coming... The Hyūga clan.
We all know Kaguya possessed the byakugan, right ?

Now finishing my theory, my perspective on the question...
Did Kaguya Ōtsutsuki give the origins to the Kaguya clan, the Hyūga clan or both ?
Is that, Kaguya is from the both clans.
But the real conclusion in my opinion is that Kaguya is only partially give the origins to the Hyūga clan, like a precursor.
Why ?
I believe Hagoromo´s brother is the true origin of the Hyūga clan (if he in any case inherited the Byakugan from Kaguya).
Thank You for reading hope you enjoyed it, this was my first hard working theory !
P.S - I know other people mentioned this, but I believe no one did an organized theory about this subject.
That´s a Theory
Theory is a group of ideas meant to explain a certain topic of science, such as a single or collection of fact(s), event(s), or phenomen(a)(on).
